We thank the authors for their thoughtful and constructive comments regarding our study. We fully agree that the use of early warning scores, such as NEWS2, particularly in prehospital care, remains an evolving field requiring continued evaluation and clinical validation. As noted, the heterogeneity in the predictive performance of these tools across different settings is well established. The prehospital environment introduces additional challenges including patient diversity, variable care models, and the dynamic nature of acute illness.
